How does Cleanr.com work?
Can I choose my cleaner from among your team?
We will recommend a cleaner and introduce them to you, if you are not happy then we will find an alternative cleaner for you to meet. Ultimately the decision is yours. Once you have chosen a cleaner, details will be exchanged and you will be able to contact the cleaner to make any special arrangements. Any increase in hours can only be agreed through head office.
Do I need to be at home during the clean?
We recommend that you are at home for the first clean so that you can meet the cleaner and show them around. After that it is up to you and we find that in the majority of cases it is more convenient for the customer to let the cleaner get on with the job alone.
Should I provide the cleaner with a key to the property?
Most customers find that this is the most convenient method for themselves and the cleaner. Other arrangements can be made (key left with neighbour for example), but this is down to you and your personal preference.
What other services do you provide?
If you require a specialist cleaning service e.g. window cleaning, carpet cleaning and oven cleaning. Please contact us via firstname.lastname@example.org, and we can arrange for a quote.
Do I need to provide cleaning materials?
Most people prefer to use their products.
We can provide cleaning products but there is a fee of £2 per hour for doing this. If you wish us to provide the products, please select the correct field at the time of booking.
How do I pay for my clean?
All payments are made online through WorldPay, the most secure payment gateway in the world. When booking for the first time, you’ll pay a £10 deposit and you will receive an instant WorldPay receipt. Going forward, you will pay a service fee element of £4.75 per hour and this will be charged 4 weeks in advance. The remaining part of the hourly charge (£9 for a weekly clean) will only be charged once the clean has been completed, and goes directly to the cleaner.
The service fee covers liability insurance, screening, vetting and training of the cleaners and providing trained cover in periods of sickness or holiday.
