These terms of business agreement will continue for 4 weeks from this date, and thereafter, until terminated by either party giving to the other not less than 30 days written notice, in accordance with your contract.


The Customer wishes to make use of the services provided by the Company, namely the provision of a domestic cleaning service.

The Company is a service agency which introduces, vetted, trained and insured self-employed cleaners to the Customer. The Customer agrees to pay an agreed hourly rate to the Company.



1 A representative of Cleanr.com will visit your premises upon receipt of your £10 deposit. A cleaning specification will be completed and agreed.

2 The company will introduce a Cleaner to the Householder subject to the terms and conditions of this agreement.


 1 The Company will provide the services as described in schedule 1 (the cleaning specification), which is attached hereto. This specification may be varied from time to time by prior agreement between the Householder and the Cleaner subject to the Householder’s compliance with the minimum retainer specified by the company. Note that changes to the number of hours shall affect payment to Cleanr Services Ltd.

2 The householder shall pay the company the retainer for the introduction of the Cleaner and ongoing support for the duration of the contract.

3 This agreement will be for a minimum initial period of 4 weeks from the date of signature and shall continue thereafter on a 4 weekly’ basis.

4 The £10 deposit will be refunded/deducted from the retainer upon signing of the agreement.

5 Services cover general domestic cleaning and DO NOT cover window cleaning, furniture cleaning, carpet cleaning or any other specialised cleaning. This can be arranged as extra services by contacting head office. Payment will need to be made in full on the day the service is carried out.


 1 The Householder shall provide payment authorisation through subscription for the 4 weeks retainer paid in advance. Such payments shall continue until the Agreement is terminated in accordance with clause 8

2 The weekly or bi-weekly payments will be taken on the day of the clean once the clean has been completed. Such payments shall continue until the Agreement is terminated in accordance with clause 8.

3 The payment of the retainer for the initial period is payable on signature of the agreement. However, the company shall not take future payments until a Cleaner has been appointed.

4 Any changes to the hours of the specification should be reported in advance to the company by the householder and shall be subject to the appropriate adjustment to the amount of the retainer.

5 If a Cleaner is retained by the Householder for more hours than originally agreed, without the householder paying the additional fee the company reserves the right to claim the additional fee due, plus interest for any period that the additional fee became payable but remained unpaid.

6 Where the payment by the Householder of the retainer or any other sum payable under this agreement is not received by the company, we reserve the right to charge the householder interest at the prevailing Bank of England Base Rate plus 3% for each day that the total amount is outstanding.

7 A failure to pay for more than 1 month shall constitute a serious breach of contract and the company shall be able to terminate this agreement without prejudice to its rights to charge interest on the overdue amount and/or to recover the outstanding amounts and its reasonable costs.


 The agreed hourly rate is split into 2 elements: (“the management fee”) will be paid four-weeks in advance to the Company, and the remaining portion (“the cleaner’s fee”) will be paid upon completion of each clean to the Company, who will collect the payment on behalf of the self-employed cleaner.

A 2 hours per week clean, every week is £13.75 per hour. Upon commencement the Customer will pay the management fee element in advance for the first four weeks.

Bi weekly cleans the Customer will be charged £15.25 per hour. Upon commencement the customer will pay the management fee element in advance for the first four weeks.

The management fee is to pay for the Company’s obligation to the customer that the cleaner is insured, vetted and trained. It also means that a replacement cleaner will be provided (with the Customer’s agreement) if the main cleaner is unavailable through holiday or illness.

The Company will provide the services described in the Cleaning Specification from the date the customer wishes to commence services and in accordance with the terms of this agreement.  The £10 deposit will be refunded upon signing of the agreement.

*Please note that any extra tasks given to the cleaner necessitating extra time will be charged at this hourly rate.


 1 The cleaner is introduced to the Householder as a self-employed cleaner and the householder shall retain the Cleaner under a “Contract for Services” which shall be a separate contractual arrangement between the Householder and the Cleaner.

2 The householder may vary the services provided directly with the Cleaner after agreement and payment of the adjustment retainer with the company.

3 The Householder shall provide a safe working environment for the Cleaner at all times.


1 The company shall introduce a Cleaner to the Householder once the agreement is signed and the retainer has been paid.

2 Where the Householder is unhappy with the Cleaner that has been introduced the company will endeavour to replace the Cleaner and issue a refund or credit for any period the Householder is without a cleaner, or additional tasks/hours may be agreed with the cleaner and the company to compensate for the services that had not been received.  In such circumstances, the agreement shall continue unaffected and all terms and conditions apply.

3 In the event that a replacement cleaner cannot be found then termination of the contract may apply.


1 In respect of each cleaner introduced by the company and retained by the Householder, the company shall provide Public Liability Insurance, which provides indemnity cover.

2 The limit of the cover of the insurance is no less than £2,000,000. Neither the company nor its insurer shall be liable for the first £250 of any claim/event nor for any claim/event for less than £250.

3 The Householder shall have adequate insurance cover in place against liabilities to the Cleaner and shall produce to The Company a copy of the appropriate insurance policy and certificate if so requested. This may be in the form of a general contents insurance policy.

4 The Householder shall NOT be covered by the company’s insurance in the following circumstances:

Where the cleaner is not introduced by the company

Where the materials or equipment used by the cleaner are not provided directly by the householder

Where the terms of this agreement are breached

No claims for bleach damage shall be accepted

Any items of furniture that are not covered in the specification

5 Subject to clause 7.2 the company shall not be liable for the following:

Any loss or damage in excess of the limit of the Public Liability Insurance or outside the scope of its cover

Any loss incurred by the Householder as a result of any failure of a retained Cleaner to comply with his/her contractual obligations under the Contract for Services for whatever reason

Failure of any retained cleaner to return keys and any loss that may arise as a result of collusion or theft of property or possessions

6 The Company shall be liable to the Householder for the following:

Where the company has not fulfilled its obligations to perform with reasonable care and skill under this agreement

Has failed to perform its obligations at all or to any significant extent

Death or personal injury caused by its negligence

Nothing in this agreement affects the statutory rights of the Householder as a consumer


 1 The Company shall be entitled to terminate this agreement forthwith by notice in writing if any (or part) of the charges specified in 4 below remain unpaid after a period of 14 days from when they become due. Any outstanding payments will be deduction from the retainer and the remainder of the retainer will be refunded to the Householder.

2 The Customer may terminate this agreement by notice in writing, any time after the 4 weeks period by giving no less than 30 days’ notice. In such circumstance the balance, if any, of the retainer for the period after expiry of the notice shall be refunded to the householder unless expiry of the notice falls within the initial period in which case the agreement shall terminate immediately after the initial period without and without refund.  If for whatever reason the initial payment has not been made to the company the Householder serves notice of termination, they shall remain liable to make such a payment to the company.

3 If the company commits a serious breach of contract the Householder is able to terminate the agreement immediately on written notice.

4 If the Householder commits a serious breach of contract the company may terminate the agreement immediately.

5 For a period of 12 months following termination of the agreement the Householder shall not engage, directly or indirectly, as an employee, contractor, agent or otherwise any cleaner who has been introduced by The Company. If the Householder does engage a cleaner in contravention of this clause, then The Company shall commence proceedings against the Householder to recover damages and costs.

6 Where the Householder cancels their Worldpay payment without giving 30 days’ written notice The Company reserves the right to charge the Householder for any reasonable expenses incurred in respect of that cancellation in addition to any outstanding fee that remains payable plus interest.

7 It is the responsibility of The Company to cancel the Worldpay transaction. This will be completed upon written 30 days’ notice and after the final payment for the last clean has occurred.

8 The Company will destroy any card details used to take payment after the final payment for the last clean.


 1 Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 the Householder has a right to cancel the contract within 14 days starting after the date of the contract is signed. The Householder may but is not obliged to give the cancellation in accordance with attached Notice of Right to Cancel.  Cleanr Services Ltd shall not be obliged to provide the services until the expiry of the 14 days cancellation period.

 If the Householder has requested in writing that the company provides services prior to the expiry of the 14 days cancellation period it shall be entitled to charge (or deduct from the retainer payment) a sum of £25 or any advance retainer set out in the agreement (whichever is the greater) and the Householder shall lose their right to cancel within 14 days.

If the Householder has not made has not made any payment under the agreement any charges pursuant to this clause shall be due and payable upon written request.


1 Unless expressly stated, all representations, rights and obligations entered into by persons named as the Householder overleaf, if more than one, are given or entered into jointly and severally by each of those persons. Accordingly, The Company may take action against any one or more of such persons and may release or compromise the liability of any one or more of such persons without affecting the liability of the others.

2 If any provision of this agreement shall be found to be void, invalid or unenforceable, whether by a court of law, agreement of the parties or otherwise, the remainder of this agreement shall remain in full force and effect notwithstanding any such invalidity, illegality or unenforceability but the provision in question shall be deleted.

3 The Householder’s non-financial details shall not be used for marketing purposes nor shall it be passed to any third party unless required to do so by law.

4 The Company upon request from a Householder will endeavour to provide cleaners who have been police checked subject to availability of such police check cleaners in an area reasonably close to the Householder.

5 The Company reserves the right to cancel, amend, withdraw or amend any promotions, special offers or other marketing offers made without any prior notice or approval to or from the Householder.
